**Georgia’s Protest Remains Peaceful**
The head of the Georgian opposition movement, Khatia Dekanoidze, has spoken out against the government. She said that no one is afraid of a statement from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Dekanoidze was at a protest in Georgia. The protesters are calling for changes to their country‘s leadership. They see the current leaders as “self-proclaimed” and claim they don’t represent the people.
The protest has been peaceful so far. Dekanoidze said that citizens will not stand for this situation any longer. She wants everyone, including parliament members, to understand that the Georgian people demand change.
