**Dekanoidze: Bidzina Ivanishvili Should Be on the “Magnitsky List”**
Khatia Dekanoidze, a leader of the National Movement, has stated that one of her main efforts is to have Bidzina Ivanishvili put on the “Magnitsky List”. This list targets individuals who are involved in human rights abuses.
**Three Pillars of Opposition**
Dekanoidze says that the opposition currently has three pillars: international support, protests, and the absurdity of the regime. She believes it is essential to continue receiving sanctions from abroad and maintaining public support. Dekanoidze also wants to work with the Trump administration to ensure Georgia‘s security interests are represented.
**Protests on Rustaveli Avenue**
The opposition leader was asked about the ongoing protests on Rustaveli Avenue, which have been going on for 104 days. Dekanoidze said that more activity is possible and encouraged people to continue protesting. She believes the regime will become even more oppressive if protests are allowed to die down.
**Hotbeds of Protest**
Dekanoidze thinks it’s essential to create various hotbeds of protest, besides Rustaveli Avenue and the Public Broadcaster. These hotbeds should be near the Theater University, the Chancellery, and other strategic locations. Spring is a politically active season, she noted.
**Getting to New Elections**
When asked about the opposition’s plan for new elections, Dekanoidze replied that external pressure, internal pressure, and expanding protests are needed.
