**Protest Against Georgian Parliament**
Khatia Dekanoidze, a member of the “Unity – National Movement,” spoke out against the current situation in Georgia’s parliament. She called it a “disgrace” and said it was the kind of regime that Bidzina Ivanishvili wanted to establish.
**No Legitimacy for Kavlashvili**
Dekanoidze said that the leader of the illegitimate Parliament, Kavlashvili, would not gain any trust from Georgian citizens. She stated that the only way forward was for the regime to fall and for a new government to be established.
**New Year‘s Protest**
Khatia Dekanoidze also spoke out against plans to light up the New Year’s illuminations on Rustaveli Avenue. She called it a “provocative” move, reminding people that young protesters were tortured and mistreated there during a previous protest.
