**Russia Launches New Missile**
On the same day as Kim’s comments, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Russia had launched its newest missile, called “Oreshnik.” This missile is designed to carry nuclear weapons, but was not armed with a nuclear warhead in this instance. Putin made these comments after Ukraine targeted facilities in Russia with Western-supplied missiles.
**Russia and North Korea Team Up**
There has been speculation that Russia and North Korea are teaming up to counter Ukrainian forces. The Pentagon recently said that 10,000 North Korean troops have been deployed to western Russia, where they will take part in combat.
