Irakli Kobakhidze, Georgian Prime Minster, is attending the European Political Community Summit (EPC), organized by Hungarian Premier Viktor Orban in Budapest, Hungary. Around 40 countries are participating.
Kobakhidze is expected to discuss the main issues relating to Georgia’s current situation and its relationship with the EU. He will also highlight the timing of the summit which takes place just after the US Presidential elections.
The Georgian government has reported that Kobakhidze is expected to participate in a panel discussion on the current state of Georgia’s EU Integration, as well as the final plenary. He will also engage in discussions with European Leaders regarding Georgia’s Foreign Policy and its pending EU Membership Status.
The 5th EPC Summit focuses on Europe’s challenges in terms of security, with an emphasis on economic security and connectivity.
