Kakha Kaladze and Irakli Kobakhidze inspected the reestablished cableway linking Freedom Square and Tabor Ridge. They then visited the construction site of Paragraph Hotel, near the ridge.
The Prime Minister said that the Paragraph Hotel Project is a significant development for Tbilisi, and will enhance the city’s tourism potential.
During the cable car ride, Giorgi Badarashvili (CEO of the Georgian Tourism Development Fund) gave a detailed evaluation of the project.
The cableway is expected to open in the New Year. Its total investment of USD 20 million will allow it to transport up to 1,000 passengers per hour.
