The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, has expressed his gratitude to Giorgi Amilakhvari for his dedicated service as Minister of Education, Science, and Youth. Kobakhidze praised the significant reforms and changes implemented by Amilakhvari during his time in the ministry.
“Giorgi’s resignation is a great loss for both the Georgian government and the management team as a whole,” stated the Prime Minister. He also acknowledged that while Amilakhvari’s decision to step down was unfortunate, it was respected.
Kobakhidze wished Amilakhvari success in his future endeavors, particularly in the private sector where he had previously excelled before entering politics. The government administration released this statement following Amilakhvari’s resignation.
