**Mine Workers Pay Tribute to Train Station Victims**
Workers at the Tamnava mine in Serbia’s Kolubara coal basin stopped working on Friday. They held a 15-minute moment of silence to remember the 15 people who died in a train station canopy collapse on November 1.
A video shared on social media showed many employees standing still and silent. The mine is an important part of the country‘s power company, EPS, which uses coal from Tamnava Mine to generate electricity for most of Serbia.
**Business as Usual**
Despite the moment of silence, the Serbian power company said that coal and electricity production are continuing normally. EPS praised its employees’ professionalism and dedication to their work.
The company also made it clear that its workers did not participate in any protests or gatherings organized by political groups. Instead, they stayed at their workstations as usual.
