**US and Russia Agree on List of Protected Energy Facilities**
The US and Russia have agreed on a list of Russian and Ukrainian energy facilities that are not allowed to be attacked during a partial ceasefire. This was announced by the Kremlin on March 25.
**Two-Day Talks in Saudi Arabia**
This agreement came after two days of talks between Ukraine, Russia, and the US in Saudi Arabia. During these talks, the three countries agreed to implement a ceasefire in the Black Sea and a ban on strikes against energy infrastructure.
**List of Protected Facilities**
The list of protected facilities includes:
* Oil refineries
* Oil and gas pipelines and storage facilities, including pumping stations
* Power production and transmission facilities, including power plants, substations, and transformers
* Nuclear power stations and hydroelectric dams
**Ukraine’s Response**
Kyiv has yet to comment on the statement from the Kremlin. However, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine has handed over a list of energy infrastructure that Moscow should not strike during the partial ceasefire.
**Regular Attacks on Energy Infrastructure**
Russian forces have regularly targeted Ukraine’s civilian energy infrastructure since 2022. They have intensified their aerial campaign in recent months with nightly drone and missile attacks.
