Trump’s victory shows that persistence, perspective and are important. Ukraine should take these lessons heart as it navigates through its own fight the next.

Donald Trump was written off after his defeat in the of 2019. He didn’t give in — he got up, ran again and won four years after that.
Lesson: Never give up. Even if your cause seems lost to everyone around you and they work against you. Even if you start to doubt that you will ever succeed. Victory is primarily a result of your efforts, and not others’.
Second, Trump was focused on his goal and won. Those who were sucked into the bubble of comforting information were convinced that Kamala Harris would win because her ratings were increasing.
Lesson: It is important to always take time to step out of our “info-bubbles” in order to see the other side of things, especially during wartime. We may later wonder why the outcome of a war was not what we had expected.
Third, this election was predicted to divide the United States. If Trump had not won, he would have likely not recognized the results. This would have created a serious division risk that would have weakened to the detriment of Ukraine. But Trump won, and the divisions were avoided.
