Russia Attacked Kyiv with Missiles
On February 12, Russia launched a missile attack on the city of Kyiv. The attack happened in the morning.
Fires have broken out in several districts of the city, including Holosiivskyi, Podilskyi, Solomianskyi, and Svyatoshynskyi. A large industrial fire is also burning in the Obolon district.
The mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, said that emergency crews are on their way to help put out the fires. He also said that air defenses are working to protect the city from more attacks.
Explosions were heard in Kyiv around 4:30 a.m. local time. Reports say four Russian missiles were launched towards the capital.
Ukraine’s Air Force had warned of the possibility of missile attacks on different regions of the country.
