Interfax Ukraine reported that Mykola Tochytskyi, Culture Minister, said that the Ukrainian government does not plan to stop its support for the telethon – Ukraine’s state run pool of TV channels, created during the wartime – before the end the martial law.

He continued, “The European Commission’s recommendation has been taken into account.” “The state plans on stopping its support for the telethon once martial law is lifted, and focusing instead on the sustainable development media infrastructure.”
