Kyodo : 2,000 North Korean troops move to Russia’s Kursk Oblast near Ukraine, Ukrainian military source claims

A Ukrainian military source revealed to Kyodo News that around 2,000 are moving to western Russia near ‘s border after completing training. A day earlier, National Security spokesman John Kirby had said that at least ,00 North Korean soldiers were transported on ships from North Korea’s Wonsan region ia , Russia’s Far East, between early and mid 2024. The Ukrainian military source told Kyodo News the North Korean officers had entered Russia’s western earlier this month. They were part of an advance team. This team of approximately 10 officers is preparing to receive soldiers in an area in which Ukraine is conducting cross border attacks. According to Kyodo News, Ukrainian tracked the movements using data, intercepted communication, and from the Russian military. The Russian Army also converts units of various branches into infantry.
