As of October 4, 2024, the of Ukraine has provided updates on the ongoing war between and Ukraine. This marks the 954th day of the Russian and the 3,867th day of Russia’s war against Ukraine. According to the latest operational information at 8:00 a.m., there were 142 combat clashes in the past day.

The enemy launched three rocket strikes and 67 air strikes, including 135 guided air bombs, on Ukrainian positions and populated areas. They also carried out over 4,000 attacks, including 105 from rocket salvo systems, and used 1,585 kamikaze for attacks. The enemy targeted areas such as Katerynivka, Volfine, Komarivka, Bilopillya, Richki, Khotyn, Yastrubyne, Iskryskivshchyna, Budivelne, Tokari, Yunakivka, Bilovody of , and the village of Zorya of .

In response, the Defense Forces launched 15 strikes on enemy personnel and anti-aircraft defenses, destroying two fuel and lubricant depots, an artillery system, an anti-aircraft vehicle, and a radio electronic warfare station. In the direction, the enemy carried out four offensive and assault operations in Staritsa and Vovchansk. In the Kupyansk direction, there were 11 combat clashes, with Ukrainian troops successfully repelling attacks in Synkivka, Kurylivka, Pischany, Vyshnevo, Petropavlivka, and Pershotravnevo.

In the Lyman direction, the Defense Forces stopped 13 enemy attacks, with the main focus in , Novosadove, Torske, Druzhelyubivka, Grekivka, and Dronivka. In the Siverskyi direction, there was one attack near Spirny, while in the Kramatorsk direction, six attempts by the enemy to advance near , Andriyivka, Bila Hora, and Stupochky were stopped by Ukrainian soldiers.

The enemy also used aviation support, targeting Chasiv Yar with anti-aircraft guns and bombing Katerynivka, Druzhba, and Kleban-Bik settlements in the direction. They also attempted to advance nine times in Toretsk, Dachnoi, and Nelipivka. In the Pokrovsky direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 30 attacks, with the enemy focusing their efforts in Mykolaivka and Selidovoy districts, as well as bombarding Mirnograd, Bilytske, and Selidov.

Overall, the situation is under control, and Ukrainian soldiers successfully defended against enemy attacks in various directions. The enemy’s main efforts were concentrated in Mykolaivka and Selidovoy districts, with nine and seven skirmishes respectively. The Defense Forces will continue to monitor and respond to any further aggression from the enemy.
