Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov made some comments about Georgia‘s new government. He said that they are trying to make their own decisions and not follow the instructions of Western countries.
Lavrov thinks that Georgia’s government is doing a good job in building its own policy, one that serves the country’s interests. However, he believes that Western countries want to control Georgia and make it unstable.
He also attacked Western countries for interfering with other countries’ internal affairs. He said that they use this method to keep rivals from rising up and eliminate those who don’t agree with them.
Lavrov mentioned the elections in Georgia and said that Western countries are not happy with the results. He claimed that they want to change the outcome because it doesn’t favor their interests.
In conclusion, Lavrov expressed his willingness to improve relations between Russia and Georgia if Tbilisi is willing to do so.
