According to Tamar Kordzaia, one of the leaders of “Unity – National Movement”, the ruling party “Georgian Dream” is continuing to deceive the public with false dilemmas and incite hatred and enmity. Kordzaia stated this while speaking to journalists, criticizing the party for not having any promises for the country’s development and only offering destruction to its citizens.
Kordzaia also responded to a statement made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, where he expressed readiness to help Georgia in normalizing relations with Abkhazia and South Ossetia, if the “countries” themselves are interested. Kordzaia accused Lavrov of working closely with “Georgian Dream” and its leader Bidzina Ivanishvili, and called it shameful that the Russian government is approving of Georgia’s desire to cooperate with the self-proclaimed independent states recognized by Russia.
“It is very shameful for “Georgian Dream” that Lavrov approves the Georgian government’s desire to cooperate with the so-called independent states recognized by Russia. It’s even more shameful that the government of Georgia is acting according to Lavrov’s wishes,” said Kordzaia.
