**European Allies Consider Sending Troops to Ukraine**
After Donald Trump’s victory in the US election, European allies are discussing sending military personnel or private defense contractors to Ukraine. This topic was brought up during a visit by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to France on November 11.
There are concerns that Trump’s victory might lead to the US withdrawing its support for Ukraine, leaving it up to European allies to help Kyiv resist Russian aggression. French President Emmanuel Macron previously suggested deploying military trainers to Ukraine, but this idea has met strong opposition from Germany.
Discussions on sending Western troops are still ongoing, but the details remain classified. One proposal involves allowing a defense contractor to train Ukrainian troops directly in Ukraine.
**Recent Attacks in Ukraine**
A Russian drone attacked the village of Solonchaky in Mykolaiv Oblast while humanitarian aid was being distributed there on November 25. Russia also launched a missile attack against the central part of Odesa, injuring at least 11 people.
Ukrainian air defenses shot down 71 out of 145 Russian drones launched overnight. The Air Force said that 70 other drones were “lost” across Ukraine thanks to electronic warfare means.
