**Leaders Meet in Paris to Support Ukraine and Discuss Peace**
On March 27, leaders from 31 countries gathered in Paris to discuss ways to help Ukraine. The meeting was led by French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. They want to coordinate military aid for Ukraine and work towards a lasting peace.
**Discussing Military Aid and Ceasefire Mechanisms**
The leaders will focus on sustaining military aid, strengthening Ukraine’s defense industry, and finding ways to stop fighting. They also want to discuss the possibility of deploying a peacekeeping force to Ukraine with US support.
**A Coalition of the Willing**
The coalition aims to form a “reassurance force” as a security guarantee for Ukraine. This means that countries can contribute troops, ships, aircraft, or other forms of support instead of sending their own soldiers to Ukraine.
**No Clear Path to Peace**
US President Donald Trump previously suggested that Russian President Vladimir Putin would allow European peacekeepers in Ukraine. However, this idea was rejected by the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
**Russia Keeps Launching Attacks**
In other news, Russia launched 86 drones overnight, including attack drones and a ballistic missile. Ukrainian troops destroyed a Russian command post, while a drone strike on Kharkiv injured at least nine people.
**Sanctions and Economic Cooperation**
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that some sanctions Russia wants lifted are not US-related but belong to the European Union. Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto visited Moscow to discuss economic cooperation between the two countries.
