**Israeli Air Strike Kills Three in Lebanon**

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and Premier Nawaf Salam have condemned the strike, calling it a “dangerous warning” and a “flagrant breach” of the ceasefire, respectively.

**Israel’s Military Response**
In a joint statement, the Israeli military and security agency confirmed the attack, stating that it had targeted an Hezbollah agent who helped Hamas plan a terrorist attack against Israeli civilians.
The military said it acted to eliminate this threat due to its immediate danger. They also stated that they would continue operations to prevent threats to Israeli civilians.
**Background on Conflict**
This is not the first attack by Israel since the ceasefire came into effect in November. Last Friday, Israel launched an attack against Beirut for the first time since the truce was established, ending more than 13 months of conflict with Hezbollah.
