Levan Gogichaishvili is a member of “Gakharia for Georgia“, a party that he belongs to. He recalls the details about the attack he suffered on October 23.
In his interview with “PalitraNews”, Bidzina ivanishvili, honorary chairman of the “Georgian Dream“, made the activists of the “Georgian Dream”, even more aggressive.
“When I entered the Metro car, I noticed that a group was there, and one person was holding a flag of “Georgian Dream”. It was a large group. There were quite a few. When we entered the tunnel, the Internet was cut, and I heard voices saying – why don’t you greet me? You don’t recognize me etc. I turned around to find a complete stranger saying something in an unclear way. I drew him closer and said I didn’t know him at all. All of them got involved. They started to artificially aggravate the situation. Some of them even smelt of alcohol. They were “Georgian Dream’ activists. A member of their family verbally abused one of us and a conflict ensued. They were more than I expected, but I didn’t miss them. They had a wagon, but it seemed that they couldn’t use it to their advantage.
They followed me when I got off the train. Both sides made calls, and then the incident happened. When the police arrived, these people fled.
Today, trolls were exposed. They accuse me of attacking other people. In a few moments, we will also see some craziness around this topic. Bidzina ivanishvili, in his aggressive and contemptuous interview used similar words. He spoke “like sponge”. This encouragement seems to have reached the lower levels, making its “infrastructure”, and its activists, aggressive. But it is not working. I have identified the people who were involved in this conflict yesterday. I’m not highlighting this or minimizing it. Most of them are people like that.
It was difficult to see – these people don’t have to live with a very difficult social background. But, unfortunately, they have adapted their minds and consciences to this propaganda. Some things are done out of fear and some out of profit. What category is it? They are street boys and party activists at the exact same time. They are socially disadvantaged and unhappy people. It seems that the propaganda, which used a bit of police, some money, some force, and a bit of bribery to penetrate their consciousness, has turned them into a mass of aggressive people. Ivanishvili is the one I’m angry with, because he’s the problem. Otherwise, these people are the same today, yesterday and tomorrow,” Gogichaishvili stated.
