**UK Imposes Financial Sanctions on Georgian Officials**
The United Kingdom has imposed financial sanctions on high-ranking officials in Georgia, including Minister Gomelauri and his deputies. These sanctions mean that they will soon be unable to use Georgian banks or access any hidden assets.
According to Levan Khabeishvili, a member of the United National Movement, this is just the beginning. He warned other officials who have been accused of wrongdoing, such as Kupatadze, Siradze, and Memanishvili, that they are next in line for sanctions.
**Sanctions Will Continue**
The UK’s statement was made in coordination with the United States, indicating that these financial sanctions will continue. Khabeishvili said that anyone who has been involved in suppressing democracy, endorsing torture, or robbing the Georgian people can expect to be targeted.
**Tbilisi Mayor Also on Sanctions List**
Kakha Kaladze, the Tbilisi Mayor, and his business partner are trying to register a construction business in Florida, USA. However, according to Khabeishvili, they are also on the sanctions list and will not be able to succeed with their plans.
**Business Association Members Urged to Speak Out**
Khabeishvili called on members of the Business Association to leave the organization and speak out against those who have been involved in wrongdoing.
