Levan Khabeishvili, a leader of the Unity – National Movement party in Georgia, has made some serious claims about the country’s drug trade. He says that Bidzina Ivanishvili, one of the richest people in Georgia, is the main drug dealer and “mini Escobar” in the country.

Khabeishvili was speaking to journalists about the country’s drug policy, which he believes is not working. According to him, the current government‘s approach to drugs is already a joke because Ivanishvili is the one who controls most of the trade. He claims that Grigol Liluashvili and Gomelauri are also involved in importing drugs into the country.

Khabeishvili has also accused representatives of the Russian oligarchic regime of covering up drug crimes. He believes that Ivanishvili’s involvement in the trade is well-known, citing a video interview where Ivanishvili talks about exporting drugs and earning billions from it.

The politician questions the government’s claims to crack down on crime when they are backed by people like Ivanishvili. He says that the security services and police are involved in facilitating the trade and have a scheme in place to make money from it.
