**Opposition Leader Calls for Unity and Action**
Levan Khabeishvili, Chairman of the Political Council of “Unity – United National Movement,” says the government is trying to intimidate people through arrests and beatings. He believes this requires a strong response from citizens.
Khabeishvili thinks that unity among Georgians is essential now. He wants people to take action against the government’s harsh regime. The Chairman said, “Society must understand that our response should also be an offense, targeting what hurts them the most.”
**Strikes and Demonstrations Needed**
According to Khabeishvili, demonstrations and performances alone won’t work against such a brutal system. He suggests strikes in critical areas like railways and ports. This, he believes, will help resist the government’s regime.
Khabeishvili criticized the country‘s current state. Despite having electricity and TV at home, he says Georgia is far from normal. The Chairman pointed out that the government is sanctioned and considered torturers who have taken power unfairly.
**Stop Engaging in Petty Politics**
Khabeishvili called on citizens to stop engaging in meaningless debates on television. He believes this is what the oligarch wants – to keep people distracted with propaganda narratives. The Chairman said, “We need unity. This is not a competition between parties.”
**Focus on the Real Issue**
Khabeishvili emphasized that the real issue is the imprisonment of fellow citizens who love their homeland. He wants this anger directed in the right way.
