Georgian Football Federation’s President Speaks Out Against Unacceptable Fan Behavior
The President of the Georgian Football Federation, Levan Kobiashvili, is speaking out against fan behavior that may lead to UEFA sanctions. He wrote on social media that some spectators entered the stadium after the match and caused an unpleasant situation.
Kobiashvili praised the fans who created a good atmosphere during the match at the Dinamo Arena. However, he emphasized that the incident after the match was unacceptable. The fans who entered the stadium were not supposed to be there, and it caused problems for both teams.
According to Kobiashvili, this behavior insults the visiting team’s fans and deprives our team of celebrating a victory with them. He believes that such actions harm football and damage Georgia‘s international image.
The President of the Georgian Football Federation hopes that both Georgia and Armenia will host the 2029 FIFA U-20 World Cup together. He thanked the Armenian Football Federation and their colleagues for hosting the teams at a high level.
Kobiashvili praised the national team, the coaching staff, and the entire squad for showing dedication and a winning mentality in the play-off matches.
