Levan Sanikidze says that Georgia has chosen to isolate itself from the West and the rest of the world. But everyone hopes that Georgia will pass its most important test for democracy.  

Everyone hopes that Georgia will pass its most important democratic test. We are confident that Georgia will have a coalition government on October 26 which will actively further Georgia’s path towards the European future – said Levan Sanikidze.
He responded to the statement made by Josep Borrell, the EU High Representative for Security and Foreign Affairs.
“This is an important statement, particularly after the European parliament adopted the most important Resolution regarding Georgia. It is also important to mention that our Western allies are very disappointed by the actions taken by Georgia. Everyone hopes that Georgia will pass its most important test of democratic governance. Georgian elections should be conducted in a democratic and free environment. Levan Sanikidze said, “We are certain that on October 26 in only 11 days, Georgia’s new coalition government will actively continue to Georgia’s European Future”.
