In an interview “Palitra News’ Day Newsroom,” Sanikidze said that what has been done until now is no longer enough to win the public’s sympathy. He believes that the opposition must become the main force behind ending the country’s crisis.

Sanikidze also talked about the term “common list” used by opposition , saying that it means trying to prevent unity from being formed. He believes that before forming a common list, there are several issues that need to be agreed upon, such as how and when elections should be demanded.

**Political Prisoners Should Not Be Bargaining Tool**

Sanikidze mentioned that meeting with family members of political prisoners showed that they do not want their loved ones to become a bargaining chip for participation in local elections. He believes that the situation in the country does not allow for such discussions, and the public should be given an answer on March 31.

**Higher Expectations from Salome Zurabishvili**

Finally, Sanikidze discussed the role of Georgia’s fifth president, Salome Zurabishvili. Although she is considered the only legitimate figure, there are issues that will constantly lead to criticism of her. Sanikidze said that they have a position regarding Zurabishvili and expect a better proposal from her on March 31.
