**Government Crisis Sparks Wave of Reorganization**
The Georgian government is facing a major crisis, according to Levan Tsutskiridze, Director of the “Center for European Studies”. In an interview with Palitra News’ program “Daily Newsroom”, Tsutskiridze said that the recent reorganization in the public sector is a response to the crisis within the ruling party.
**Closure of Parliament‘s Research Center Criticized**
Tsutskiridze criticized the decision to close the Georgian Parliament’s Research Center, calling it both tragic and absurd. The purpose of this institution was to provide critical analysis for Parliament, but now its staff are being dismissed from their jobs. Tsutskiridze urged that these professionals be reinstated and compensated.
**Opposition Parties Unite Against Electoral Reforms**
Tsutskiridze also discussed the joint electoral document created by opposition parties. This document emphasizes the creation of a new and independent electoral administration, the confidentiality of votes, and the non-interference of state structures in the election process.
**Government Should Engage with Public Protests**
The politician touched on ongoing protests in the country, saying that the government should not count heads on the streets. Every individual voice matters, he emphasized. Instead, representatives of the government should face the public and engage with their concerns.
