**Georgian Dream Urged to Act**
The movement “Field of Freedom” is calling on the ruling party, “Georgian Dream”, to follow a resolution from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. This resolution asks for new elections in Georgia within the coming months, as well as the release of political prisoners and steps towards European integration.
**Warning of Exclusion**
The chairman of “Field of Freedom”, Levan Tsutskiridze, made this demand together with his supporters. He warned that if the “Georgian Dream” does not act on these demands, Georgia may be completely excluded from the European space. This could mean a halt in Georgia’s process to join the European Union and even exclusion from all European mechanisms.
**Key Demands**
The resolution from the Council of Europe asks for several key actions: inclusive dialogue to resolve the political crisis, restoration of European integration, improved relations with the Council of Europe, an end to police violence and human rights violations, and investigations into these issues. Most importantly, new elections must be held in the country and all political prisoners released.
**Historic Date Looms**
Tsutskiridze reminded the public that a very important date is approaching – April 7th, when the spring session of the Council of Europe starts. This is a crucial moment for Georgia’s future. The country may be left outside the European space and all its mechanisms, which are essential for development and human rights protection.
**Urging Action**
Tsutskiridze urged the “Georgian Dream” to immediately start fulfilling these conditions. He also reminded everyone of the significance of this date in Georgia’s history.
