In a show of solidarity, libraries in Manchester and were paired.
Manchester Libraries has partnered with the Lviv Regional Youth Library in order share information on language, literature, and and to develop joint initiatives.
, Manchester City Council executive member Skills, Employment and Leisure, said: “We are proud of our Ukrainian community and have been eager to connect with them and show solidarity in this way.”
He said that libraries are “the bedrock for communities and important resource to our young”.
