Lithuania Sends Military Aid to Ukraine
On November 24, Lithuania’s Ministry of National Defense announced that it has delivered a new military aid package to Ukraine. The package included important supplies such as generators, spare parts for M113 vehicles, weapons, and ammunition.
The ministry stated that Lithuania continues to strongly support Ukraine in its fight against Russia. The country is committed to helping Ukraine win the war, no matter what it takes. This aid package is just one example of Lithuania’s unwavering solidarity with Ukraine.
A memorandum was signed on November 23 between the defense ministers of Lithuania and Ukraine. This agreement aims to establish a mechanism for supporting Ukraine’s security. Lithuania has agreed to provide funding for the production of Ukrainian long-range drones.
The two countries also discussed other key priorities, including equipping Ukrainian brigades, providing ammunition, strengthening air defense, and expanding defense industry cooperation between them. These plans are set to be implemented in 2025.
