**Lithuania Questions Georgia’s Election Results**
The Lithuanian Foreign Minister, Gabrielius Landsbergis, has expressed doubts about the fairness of elections held in Georgia. He believes an independent international investigation is needed to clarify the situation.
Speaking at a meeting of EU foreign ministers, Landsbergis said that such an investigation would help determine if Georgia is on track to align with European values. If the Georgian government refuses to cooperate or blocks the investigation, it may be seen as moving away from its goal of joining Europe.
Landsbergis also expressed uncertainty about whether the EU could reach a consensus on this issue. He noted that even imposing sanctions would not be an easy decision.
