**Lithuania’s FM on Europe’s Role in Ending Russia’s War**
On April 1, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys visited Kyiv to discuss the future of Europe with local journalists. He met with Francis Farrell from The Kyiv Independent to talk about the situation.
Mr. Budrys emphasized that Lithuania supports a “coalition of the willing” against Russia’s aggression in Ukraine. This includes implementing and maintaining European sanctions on Russia.
**Ukraine Receives Fresh Funding**
Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced that his country will receive 19.6 billion euros ($21.1 billion) from international organizations under the Ukraine Facility program. This money aims to support macroeconomic stability in Ukraine.
**Russia’s Reaction to US Ceasefire Proposal**
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said Russia takes US proposals for a ceasefire “seriously” but cannot accept them as they are now. He emphasized that any agreement will need to be negotiated by Moscow and Kyiv directly.
**Cyberattack on Ukrainian Railways**
A cyberattack was launched against the state-owned Russian railway operator, causing disruptions in rail services. The attack used malware specifically designed for Ukraine’s rail infrastructure.
**Russian Attacks Continue**
In Kherson, 45,000 residents lost electricity due to a Russian morning attack on one of the city’s power facilities. Ukrainian air defenses also shot down two guided aerial missiles launched by Russia against Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
