**Thousands Attend Pro-Palestinian Rally in London**
A large crowd of people gathered in central London to show their support for Palestine. The protest was held in a busy area, and police were present to keep everything calm.
As the rally came to an end, police vans blocked off the square where protesters had been standing. Demonstrators were asked to leave the area, but around 20-30 people refused to go and are now being arrested.
A smaller group of people held a counter-protest near Whitehall, showing support for Israel. Other pro-Palestinian protests took place in Northern Ireland, in cities called Belfast and Londonderry.
**Police Warned Protesters Ahead of Time**
Before the rally began, police posted on social media that anyone entering a certain area would be committing a crime and could get arrested. Three people were already arrested for not following these rules.
**Protest Signs Show Strong Feelings**
At one of the protests near Whitehall, people held signs saying “Stop the massacre in Gaza” and “Stop arming Israel”. Another sign read “Why does the BBC hide Israel’s crimes?”. These messages showed how strongly people feel about this issue.
