**Disruption in Mobile and Services in Georgia**

A major telecommunications company in Georgia, , has experienced disruptions to its mobile and fixed internet services. The disruption occurred January 27 and lasted several hours.

According to a statement released by the company, the issue was caused by damage to secured channels from Europe. Heavy snowfall and avalanche risks in Turkey had prevented partner companies’ technical teams from reaching the affected area. Additionally, Magticom’s backup channel in Georgia also experienced disruptions.

Magticom’s technical worked around the clock to resolve the issues. All three damages were fully resolved by 01:54 a.m. on January 28.
