Georgian Foreign Affairs Minister Maka Bochorishvili commented on the OSCE/ODIHR report.
She said that the report shows there is no reason to doubt the election results. The opposition‘s goal was to make the elections seem unfair, she added.
The OSCE/ODIHR report looks at everything from before the election to after it. It says that everyone had a chance to participate and that the organization of the election was good.
Bochorishvili said it is not surprising that the report includes some things the opposition wanted to say. The opposition did not want to take part in the election fairly or accept the results, she said.
The minister believes the report shows there is no reason to question the election results.
