**Peaceful Protests Turned Violent**
Just days ago, protesters were beaten and gassed on Rustaveli Avenue. The air still smells of gas. It’s not safe for an event like the Christmas tree celebration to take place there. There are many other parks and squares in the city where such events could be held.
**Warning from Khazaradze**
Khazaradze warns that if the government doesn’t cancel the event, it will mean they want a confrontation. He says the people should not fall for this trap. If something goes wrong, the government will be responsible.
