**Opposition Protests in Georgia**
The opposition is not protesting about certain government positions, but the election results that changed the course of the country. This was said by Mamuka Khazaradze, leader of “Strong Georgia”.
Khazaradze spoke to journalists after a meeting with other opposition parties. He said that they will discuss their next steps regarding the presidential elections on December 14.

Khazaradze believes that only new elections can lead the country back to its peaceful path. He said that this is not just about political parties, but about the whole of Georgia striving for peace and prosperity.
**No Legitimacy in Parliament**
The opposition does not recognize the current parliament as legitimate. They claim that it has no support from democratic countries. Khazaradze said that they will work with President Salome Zurabishvili to achieve new elections, which he believes is the only way forward.
