**Georgia on Brink of Civil Conflict**
A leader from Georgia’s opposition party, “Strong Georgia”, is calling for urgent action. Mamuka Khazaradze says the country faces a great danger and needs an immediate response.
Khazaradze wrote on Facebook that all MPs from four opposition coalitions must gather to form a new parliament. This body should include representatives from public organizations. The goal is to represent the will of the Georgian people, who won the elections.
**Steps to Avoid Civil Conflict**
To prevent chaos and a return to the 1990s, Khazaradze suggests three steps:
1. A special parliament, or “People’s Parliament”, must be formed. This body should speak directly to the European Union on behalf of the Georgian people.
2. A team must be sent to Brussels to restore Georgia’s relationship with the EU. The goal is to continue the country’s integration process, which was interrupted by Russia‘s influence.
3. The opposition must take responsibility for peaceful protests and demand new elections.
**Action Required**
Khazaradze says his party, “Strong Georgia”, is ready to lead these efforts nationwide. He emphasizes that time is running out and action is needed now.
