**New Commission to Investigate Old Regime**

A special team will be set up in Georgia to look into the activities of a previous government. This regime was in power from 2003 to 2012.

The new commission’s job is to gather information and make conclusions about what happened during that time. The findings will then be given to the prosecutor‘s office, so they can decide if anyone should be punished for their actions.

This move comes as part of efforts to hold people accountable for past mistakes in Georgia.
