Mamuka mdinaradze is the executive secretary of “Georgian Dream.” She criticized the opposition for their shifting strategies. She argued that their vague promises, unfulfilled plans, and lack of direction have angered and confused their own supporters.
Mdinaradze commented about the opposition’s recent decision to postpone their planned Monday actions. He said that the opposition’s efforts to stir up unrest, rather than uniting the public, have alienated their voters. He called their disorganized efforts a “plan with no plan,” highlighting confusion and frustration among supporters of the opposition visible on social media.
“Their plan is to not have a plan.” Mdinaradze said that this was the most serious plan, adding that, “when they said ‘we should anger the Georgians now,’ they actually angered their own voters.”
He said that the failure of the opposition to deliver on its promises has left it disoriented and unable to communicate a coherent, cohesive message.
“They can’t speak properly.” He said, “They’ve mixed up a few words, but they’ve actually pissed off the people who elected them.”
Mdinaradze also criticised the opposition’s inaccurate forecasts, pointing out their claims that “Georgian Dream”, received only 25% of the votes were proven incorrect when the party gained 54% in final count. Mdinaradze said, “First they told a falsehood that ‘Georgian Dream,’ received 25% of the votes, and now they’re talking about a second lie to hide it.”
