**Opposition Leaders Targeted with Paint**
A heated argument has erupted between the leaders of Georgia‘s ruling party and opposition. The issue started when paint was poured on the Chairman of the Central Election Commission, Giorgi Kalandarishvili.
The leader of the majority, Mamuka Mdinaradze, spoke about the incident saying it is not an acceptable form of protest. He claimed that people are calling them every day to ask why they can’t hold protests.
Mdinaradze said: “If it’s an acceptable form to pour ink or black paint on someone, I promise you this – we will wear black ones every day.” He was reacting to a comment made by Vashadze, who said that if it is an acceptable form of protest, then they should carry out similar actions.
**Crime Possible?**
Mdinaradze also suggested that there may be signs of crime in the fact that paint was poured on Giorgi Kalandarishvili. He said: “If the eye is damaged, now they should pray that the eye wasn’t damaged. If it’s damaged, then it’s already a crime.”
