Kvelashvili to Moscow on May 9? Not Likely.
In Georgia, someone who thinks Kvelashvili can travel to Moscow on May 9 has a big problem. This is the opinion of Mamuka Mdinaradze, Executive Secretary of “Georgian Dream.”
According to Mdinaradze, a recent briefing by the “United National Movement” was not serious and was meant to confuse people. The briefing talked about Kvelashvili’s alleged visit to Moscow.
Mdinaradze says it’s absurd to think that Kvelashvili will be on Red Square in Moscow on May 9. He thinks it’s ridiculous for anyone to ask if this is true, and that the briefing was held just to cause trouble.
The purpose of the briefing was to insult people by pretending that some would believe this story. Mdinaradze thinks that those who held the briefing don’t have a good opinion of their own society.
