We can call international evaluations “critical recognition”. We don‘t agree with criticism, but we do agree with recognition – Mamuka mdinaradze said at the briefing.
According to his assessment of the election results, the elections in Georgia were held on October 26. The results were not recognized by even the most subjective forces.
“Yes, there were elections in Georgia. They could not be recognized in a negative way, subjectively, or however you want to describe them. Even the determined forces couldn’t say a single word about it. This is very surprising. We are talking transparency and other laws. In announcements about elections, laws are mentioned. What is the connection between them? – said Mdinaradze.
According to him, no one recognized the elections as illegal.
“Many thanks for OSCE/ODIHR which, despite tremendous pressure, spoke out in the competitive election,” said Mdinaradze.
