Parliament Members Accused of Fraud
The leader of the “Georgian Dream” party, Mamuka Mdinaradze, is accusing opposition members of fraud. He says they wrote statements about leaving parliament in a way that doesn’t follow the law.
Mdinaradze believes this was done so the opposition wouldn’t have to write another statement following the law and actually leave parliament. He thinks it’s an easy trick to see through.
What really happens will be clear when the opposition recognizes their powers in parliament. If they are truly giving up their mandates, it should show after that.
