**Journalists Targeted in Edited Video**
A video was recently published on Instagram that targeted several public figures, including journalists. The video claimed they were supporters of Kosovo‘s independence.
The video took statements from the journalists out of context and used them to support a narrative against Serbia. Journalists like Jelena Obucina, Zoran Kesic, Marko Stepanovic, and others were featured in the video.
**Dangerous Tactics**
The Independent Association of Journalists of Serbia (NUNS) said that this kind of targeting is extremely dangerous. It can put people’s lives at risk. Some journalists reported receiving death threats after being featured in the video.
**Growing Concerns**
This incident comes as tensions rise in Serbia following a fatal train accident on November 1. Journalists have been increasingly targeted for covering the protests.
**Incidents Against Journalists**
Since January, there have been four physical attacks on journalists, seven verbal threats, and 16 other incidents of pressure recorded by NUNS. This highlights the importance of protecting journalists from discrediting and false narratives.
