Estonia’s Foreign Minister Speaks Out Against Georgia’s Elections
The election results in Georgia are under scrutiny. Estonia’s Foreign Minister, Margus Tsahkna, has made a statement on social media.
According to Tsahkna, a report by the OSCE/ODIHR (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe/Observatory for Democracy and Human Rights) confirms serious problems with the elections. The minister believes that the authorities should address these issues and punish those responsible for human rights violations.
Tsahkna also expressed concern over threatening statements made by Georgian officials. He thinks this kind of behavior is not acceptable.
