US President Donald Trump has announced that Mark Brnovich will be the new US ambassador to Serbia.
Trump made the announcement on his Truth social media network. He said he was pleased to name Mark Brnovich as the next US ambassador to Serbia.
Mark Brnovich is a veteran of the Army National Guard and previously served as the Attorney General of Arizona. His parents were refugees who fled communism, and Trump said this will make Mark a strong advocate for freedom.
Mark Brnovich will replace Christopher Hill, who was the US ambassador until January 2025.
