Georgia’s People Deserve Support, Says Estonian Politician
The people of Georgia have been protesting for 32 days. They want a change in their government. Marko Mihkelson, who is in charge of foreign affairs in Estonia, thinks they deserve support from European countries.
He says that Russia took power in Georgia and European governments did not act strongly against it. This makes him think that Europe will have to pay a higher price to defend freedom and democracy in the future.
Marko Mihkelson wants European countries to show their support for the people of Georgia both with words and actions. He believes that if the Georgian people do not give up, neither can Europe afford to ignore them.
