**Group Threatens Media Outlets Over Reporting**
A group calling itself Students Who Want to Study has banned N1 and Nova S TVs from reporting on their events. The students, who have been camping outside the Serbian Presidency building for several days, claim that N1 and Nova S reported incorrect and unverified information about them.
**Demand to Stop Reporting**
In an email, the group demanded that N1 and Nova S reporters not attend their events. If their demand is not met, they threaten to contact Meta associates to suspend the media outlets’ social media accounts.
**Questionable Intentions**
Investigations have shown that some of the students may not be who they claim to be. A young woman was identified as a participant in the ruling Serbian Progressive Party‘s academy for young leaders. Others were found to work at a hospital, a municipal administration, and even a fast food restaurant.
**Media Will Continue Reporting**
Despite the threats, N1 TV says it will continue to report professionally and responsibly on all events of public interest. The group’s attempt to ban reporting is seen as an attack on press freedom.
