**Pro-Russian Collaborator Dies in Moscow Explosion**
Armen Sarkisyan, a pro-Russian collaborator from Donetsk Oblast wanted by Ukraine, died in the hospital after being injured in an explosion in an elite residential complex in Moscow on February 3.
The blast occurred when Sarkisyan and his security guards were entering one of the buildings in the “Alye Parusa” complex. Three guards were injured, while one was killed. Russian law enforcement suspects that Sarkisyan was a victim of a planned assassination.
Sarkisyan was wanted by Ukraine for organizing murders in central Kyiv during the EuroMaidan Revolution and had been on the international wanted list since 2014. He also founded the Arbat Separate Guards Special Purpose Battalion, which fought against Ukraine after the full-scale war broke out.
**Russia Launches Drone Attacks**
Russia launched 71 Shahed-type attack and decoy drones overnight, according to their Air Force. Ukrainian drones also attacked energy facilities in Russia’s Astrakhan and Volgograd oblasts, causing a fire.
The conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues with no end in sight.
**US and EU Relations on the Agenda**
A meeting is scheduled to discuss geopolitics and EU relations with the United States. The US President‘s sweeping tariffs are expected to dominate the agenda.
In an interview with the Associated Press, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that while the US and Russia had previously cooperated on weapons and technology, they are now openly engaged in Russia’s war against Ukraine.
